Nick Castillo arrived to the San Diego scene in September of 2017.  Originally from Arlington, VA, he brings his love for music and mixes to bars and events around the SD area.  

Growing up in the 90's and 00's working in a music store and listening to hits from the 70's on up to the present guarantees a setlist your party will thoroughly enjoy.  You will hear songs that will not only keep your party dancing, but even singing along in nostalgia or even recognition of the songs that they hear today.

One of Nick's most important talents is being able to read the room.  Have you ever experienced one of those DJs that kept playing the same type of song over and over to the point where no one was left on the dance floor?  Unacceptable.  DJ Hokienick understands that if the crowd wants some latin music he'll bring in some Selena or Celia Cruz to get the party back on it's feet.  Today's top hits?  Not a problem, Ariana Grande it is.  Someone's birthday?  He'll make a hyped announcement and cue up "In Da Club" by 50 Cent.
